Comical Rogue-lite Deadly Days Coming to Nintendo Switch

Attention all apocalypse fanatics! The hugely popular rogue-lite Deadly Days is about to go handheld!

Publisher Assemble Entertainment and developer Pixelsplit Game s today announced that the over-the-top 8bit-style zombie shooter Deadly Days is crawling and clawing its way to Nintendo Switch later this summer!

Players can expect the same wacky zombie-battling gameplay that they’ve come to love — now on the go! Including all of the features from the PC release, the Nintendo Switch version packs a powerful punch dropping you right in the middle of the crazy brain-eating action! Deadly Days for Nintendo Switch will be available as a digital download from the Nintendo Store.

Additionally, Assemble Entertainment has announced even more good news for all banana suit-wearing zombie apocalypse survivalists: Deadly Days on PC has received a massive update, bringing with it a whole host of new content as well as gameplay balancing and optimization to enhance your zombie-slaying experience. New in-game items, powers, and quirky characters are also available, while the crafty folks will enjoy the fresh crafting feature that allows survivors to construct rooms with different perks and build powerful weapons with specialized modifications.

If you’re brave (or crazy) enough, there is also a new mission type called ‘Hardware Store’ to dive into and test your strategic prowess! Salvage and equip random weapons to fend off the zombie horde and protect your pack of equally loony people.

A World Apart Introduces Scenarios and More in Latest Update

The apocalypse is looking a little brighter, as Assemble Entertainment has announced an extensive new update to the highly successful post-apocalyptic city-builder Endzone – A World Apart. As part of the update, players will face new challenges in the irradiated wastelands, as they strive to build a thriving home for their followers.

The update brings new Scenarios, which introduce modified win conditions that challenge players to experience the game with various objectives that can significantly increase the difficulty of a particular play style. If you thought the unforgiving environments were tough before, it’s only just beginning.

Additionally, players can now choose between a “pre-built” playing experience with the option to start in Easy Mode, Builder Mode, or Hard Mode, or fine-tune the most minute gameplay details, such as increased instances of diseases, the population’s food consumption, and radiation levels. This apocalypse is about to get personal!

Key Update Features Include:

The ‘Long Summer’ Scenario sees players battling a harsh and seemingly never-ending drought that requires intense food and water stockpile preparation Updated achievements have been added for each new Scenario, making completion of tasks and objectives even more satisfying A statistics screen that details production, resource storage, population, and buildings has been added, along with a Scenario selection menu Two new Outlander Side Missions are now available; players must upgrade the Town Center twice in order to unlock them

The tutorial now features voice-overs in both English and German languages

Having sold over 70,000 copies on Steam and boasting nearly 200,000 wishlist additions, Endzone – A World Apart will continue to roll out major content updates up until the game’s full launch.
